NGRecipe, a developer brand operated by Md Chhafrul Alam Khan (“NGRecipe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides NGStudio: Photo & Video Editor (“NGStudio” or the “App”), Android package com.ngrecipe.ngstudio.
This Privacy Policy explains how NGStudio accesses, uses, stores, discloses, retains, and protects information. It also explains the choices and rights available to users.
This policy applies to the NGStudio mobile application. A third-party website, application, advertising service, cloud-storage service, or other service opened from NGStudio is governed by that service’s own privacy terms.
1. Privacy at a glance
- NGStudio is an offline-first editor and does not require an NGStudio account.
- Photos, videos, audio files, subtitle files, projects, and editing instructions are processed and stored locally on the user’s device unless the user deliberately shares or exports them to another application or service.
- NGStudio does not upload user-selected media to servers operated by NGRecipe.
- NGStudio displays advertising through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads Software Development Kit (SDK) may automatically collect and share certain device, advertising, interaction, diagnostic, and Internet Protocol (IP) address information.
- Google ML Kit performs subject-segmentation image processing on the device. It does not send the input image or resulting output to Google, although it may download models and send performance and usage metrics to Google.
- A user controls whether to select media, create content, export a file, share a file, save it through a cloud application, contact support, or open an external link.
- NGStudio is intended for users aged 16 and over and is not directed to children under 16.
2. Who is responsible for this policy
For information that NGRecipe directly receives, NGRecipe is the responsible developer and data controller where that term applies.
Developer brand: NGRecipe
Operator and developer: Md Chhafrul Alam Khan
Country of operation: Bangladesh
Privacy and support email: support@ngrecipe.com
Company website: https://ngrecipe.com/
Developer website: https://mdchhafrulalamkhan.com/
Google and any application or service a user deliberately selects for sharing, cloud storage, text-to-speech, or external browsing may act as an independent controller or service provider under their own terms.
3. Information NGStudio accesses or processes
A. Media and user-created content
NGStudio may access the following only when the user selects, enters, creates, or imports it:
- photos and images;
- videos;
- audio and music files;
- subtitle files;
- project names and editing instructions;
- text, captions, stickers, watermark text, and Brand Kit information;
- exported photos, videos, and mixed-media files; and
- file names, paths, format information, duration, dimensions, and other technical metadata needed to edit or export a project.
The Android system picker limits access to files selected by the user. NGStudio copies selected media into app-controlled local storage when necessary to support editing and project continuity.
User media may itself contain personal or sensitive information, such as a person’s image, voice, documents, surroundings, or embedded metadata. NGStudio processes this content to provide the editing functions requested by the user. NGRecipe does not receive this content unless the user intentionally sends it to NGRecipe, for example as an attachment in a support request.
NGStudio does not use selected media to identify individuals, build biometric profiles, train an NGRecipe artificial-intelligence model, or target advertising.
B. Local project and preference information
NGStudio stores information locally on the device so that the App can remember projects and settings. This may include:
- project records and edit decisions;
- imported-file references and local project copies;
- Brand Kit text and colour choices;
- creator-tip and promotional-message preferences;
- sharing and review-prompt preferences;
- advertising-display preferences;
- launch and export counters;
- prompt dismissal times; and
- the time an app-open advertisement was last shown.
This information is used for App functionality, project recovery, respectful advertisement frequency, and user-selected settings. It is not uploaded to an NGRecipe account because NGStudio does not currently provide accounts or NGRecipe-operated cloud synchronization.
C. Advertising and consent information
NGStudio uses Google AdMob, the Google Mobile Ads SDK, and Google’s User Messaging Platform to display and manage advertisements and privacy choices.
According to Google’s disclosures, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share:
- the device’s IP address, which may be used to estimate general or approximate location;
- app and advertisement interactions, such as app launches, taps, and advertisement or video views;
- diagnostic and performance information, such as launch time, hang rate, and energy usage; and
- device and account identifiers, including the Android advertising identifier, App Set ID, and other applicable identifiers.
Google may process this information for advertising, advertisement measurement, analytics, security, and fraud or abuse prevention. NGRecipe may receive aggregated advertisement performance and revenue reports but does not receive the user’s selected project media through AdMob.
Where required by law, NGStudio asks for advertising consent before requesting advertisements. Depending on the user’s region, choices, age status, and device settings, Google may provide personalized, non-personalized, contextual, or limited advertisements. Withdrawing or refusing consent does not remove the App’s core editing functions, although advertisements permitted without consent may still appear where lawful.

D. On-device subject segmentation
NGStudio uses Google ML Kit subject segmentation for optional background-removal functions.
The input image and resulting segmentation output are processed on the device and are not sent by ML Kit to Google servers. The required model may be downloaded through Google Play services. ML Kit may also contact Google for model updates, bug fixes, and hardware compatibility information and may send performance and API-usage metrics to Google for maintenance, improvement, security, and abuse prevention.

E. Android text-to-speech
When a user chooses a text-to-speech voice-over feature, NGStudio passes the text and selected voice settings to the text-to-speech engine installed or selected on the device. Some engines work entirely on-device, while others may use an Internet connection or process text according to the engine provider’s policy. NGRecipe does not control third-party text-to-speech engines. Users should review their selected engine’s privacy settings and avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information.
F. Support and voluntary communications
If a user contacts NGRecipe, we may receive:
- the user’s name and email address;
- the content of the message;
- files or screenshots the user chooses to attach;
- device, App-version, or diagnostic details voluntarily provided; and
- related correspondence.
We use this information to respond, investigate problems, protect the App, maintain reasonable support records, and comply with legal obligations. Users should not send passwords, payment information, government identification, or unrelated sensitive content.
G. External links, sharing, and cloud saving
NGStudio opens the Android share sheet only after a user chooses to share or save content. The user then selects the receiving application or service. The chosen file and accompanying text are transferred to that selected recipient under its privacy policy.
For example, if a user selects Google Drive, another cloud-storage provider, an email application, a messaging service, or a social network, that provider—not NGRecipe—controls its subsequent collection, upload, storage, use, and disclosure of the shared file.
When a user opens an external website, Google Play page, social profile, or email application, the external provider may receive the information normally provided by the user’s browser, device, or application, such as IP address, browser information, and activity on that service.
4. Information NGRecipe does not intentionally collect
NGStudio does not currently provide user accounts, subscriptions, in-app purchases, developer-operated cloud backup, social profiles, public posting, direct messaging, or a developer-operated analytics or crash-reporting service.
NGRecipe does not intentionally collect through NGStudio:
- account passwords;
- payment-card or banking information;
- contacts or address books;
- precise Global Positioning System (GPS) location;
- health records;
- government identification numbers; or
- user-selected photos, videos, or audio on NGRecipe servers.
Google AdMob may infer approximate location from an IP address and may process identifiers and interactions as described above. A user may also voluntarily include personal information in selected media or a support message.
5. How information is used
Depending on the type of information, NGStudio and its service providers may use information to:
- import, preview, edit, save, recover, and export projects;
- remember settings and maintain local project continuity;
- provide optional background removal and text-to-speech;
- open user-requested sharing, cloud-storage, support, or external-link actions;
- display and measure advertisements;
- manage consent and privacy choices;
- limit advertisement frequency and provide an earned ad-free period;
- diagnose performance, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect users and services;
- answer support requests; and
- comply with law, enforce rights, or respond to lawful legal process.
6. Legal bases where European or similar law applies
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), United Kingdom GDPR, or similar law applies, processing may rely on:
- performance of a service requested by the user, such as selecting, editing, exporting, sharing, or troubleshooting a file;
- consent, particularly for personalized advertising or access to device content where consent is required;
- legitimate interests, such as operating the App, showing permitted contextual or limited advertising, preventing fraud, maintaining security, responding to support, and improving reliability, provided those interests are not overridden by the user’s rights;
- compliance with a legal obligation; or
- establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
Where processing relies on consent, the user may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
7. When information is disclosed
Information may be disclosed only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: Google may process advertising, consent, device, diagnostic, model-download, and ML Kit performance information as described in this policy.
- At the user’s direction: A file or message is sent to an application, cloud provider, website, or person selected by the user.
- Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information we actually hold when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or valid legal process; protect users, the public, NGRecipe, or another party; investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or establish and defend legal rights.
- Business reorganisation: If the App or relevant business assets are transferred, information may be transferred subject to applicable law, appropriate safeguards, and notice where required.
NGRecipe does not rent user-selected media or support-contact information. NGRecipe does not sell personal information for money.
Advertising providers may use or disclose device identifiers and activity data for personalized or cross-context behavioural advertising. Some privacy laws may define that activity as “sharing” or a “sale,” even when no money is exchanged. Users may exercise applicable opt-out rights as explained below.
8. Advertising choices and “Do Not Sell or Share”
Where available, users may review or change advertising consent through:
- NGStudio → More → Ad privacy choices;
- Android’s Settings → Privacy → Ads controls, where the advertising identifier can be reset or deleted;
- Google’s My Ad Center at https://myadcenter.google.com/; or
- a request to support@ngrecipe.com with the subject “Privacy request.”
After an opt-out or refusal of personalized advertising, contextual, non-personalized, or limited advertisements may still be displayed where permitted by law.
NGRecipe does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16 for targeted advertising.
9. Data retention and deletion
Information stored locally
- Project records, project media copies, and preferences remain on the device until the user deletes them, clears NGStudio’s storage, or uninstalls the App.
- Deleting a project from NGStudio deletes the project record and its associated App-controlled project files. A separately exported or shared copy is not automatically deleted.
- Exported files remain in the user-selected or system media location until the user deletes them using the device’s Gallery, Photos, Files, or similar application.
- Temporary files are removed when no longer needed through App cleanup or operating-system storage management, although interrupted operations may leave temporary data until a later cleanup or App-data deletion.
- NGStudio disables Android application backup for its private App data in the current release.
To delete local information, users may:
- delete individual projects inside NGStudio;
- delete exported media using the device’s media or file manager;
- open Android Settings → Apps → NGStudio → Storage → Clear storage/data; or
- uninstall NGStudio.
Clearing App data or uninstalling the App does not delete copies previously exported, emailed, posted, or saved to a third-party cloud service. Those copies must be deleted from the receiving service separately.
Information received by NGRecipe
Ordinary support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain appropriate records, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or handle disputes. In ordinary circumstances, we aim not to retain support correspondence for more than 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. We may retain limited records for longer where law, security, fraud prevention, or legal claims require it.
Information handled by third parties
Google and user-selected third parties retain information under their own policies and legal obligations. NGRecipe cannot directly delete information held independently by those providers. Users should use the provider’s privacy controls or contact that provider.
NGStudio has no user account to delete. If NGRecipe does not hold identifiable server-side information about a requester, there may be no NGRecipe-held account or cloud record to return or erase.
10. Security
NGStudio is designed to reduce unnecessary data exposure by:
- keeping projects and selected media in local, App-controlled storage;
- using the Android system picker for user-selected files;
- not enabling Android backup for private App data;
- prohibiting cleartext network traffic in the Android application configuration;
- requiring user action before sharing or cloud transfer; and
- using providers that support encrypted data transmission for their network services.
No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Users should protect their device with an operating-system lock, keep Android and NGStudio updated, maintain adequate free storage, and carefully review recipients before sharing sensitive media.
11. International processing
Google and other user-selected service providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, the relevant provider or controller is responsible for using lawful transfer mechanisms and safeguards.
Information stored only in NGStudio remains on the user’s device unless the user initiates a transfer or a disclosed third-party SDK processes technical information.
12. Privacy rights
Depending on the user’s location and applicable law, the user may have rights to:
- know whether personal information is processed and obtain information about that processing;
- access or receive a copy of personal information;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion;
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive portable information where applicable;
- withdraw consent;
- opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;
- receive equal service and not be unlawfully discriminated against for exercising privacy rights; and
- complain to a competent data-protection or consumer-protection authority.
NGStudio’s local data can be managed directly using the deletion steps above. For information NGRecipe may hold, send a request to support@ngrecipe.com with:
- the subject “Privacy request”;
- the name of the App, NGStudio;
- the right being exercised; and
- the country or region of residence, so the applicable law can be identified.
We may request proportionate information to verify the requester’s identity and protect information from unauthorised disclosure. Do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through an appropriate process. We aim to respond within 30 days or within the period required by applicable law. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions.
An authorised agent may submit a request where local law permits, but we may require proof of authority and direct identity verification.
13. Automated processing
NGRecipe does not use NGStudio data to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning a user.
Google may use automated systems for advertisement selection, personalization, measurement, fraud prevention, and security, subject to the user’s consent choices, applicable law, and Google’s policies.
14. Children’s privacy
NGStudio is a general creative tool intended for users aged 16 and over. It is not directed to children under 16, and NGRecipe does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through the App.
Parents or guardians who believe a child under 16 has sent personal information directly to NGRecipe should contact support@ngrecipe.com. We will review the request and delete information where required.
If NGStudio’s target audience or features change to include younger children, this policy, advertising configuration, consent process, and Google Play declarations must be updated before that change is released.
15. Third-party services and links
NGStudio may link to or interact with services not controlled by NGRecipe, including Google Play, Google AdMob, Google ML Kit, device text-to-speech engines, cloud-storage providers, email applications, social networks, and websites.
NGRecipe is not responsible for an independent third party’s privacy practices. Users should review a third party’s policy before sending content or personal information to it. This statement does not limit any rights a user may have under applicable law.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy when NGStudio’s functionality, service providers, data practices, legal obligations, or Google Play requirements change. The revised policy will show a new “Last updated” date.
Where required, we will provide additional notice in the App or obtain consent before materially different processing begins. Continued use after a non-consent-based update takes effect is subject to applicable law.
Users should review this policy periodically. An archived or saved copy may no longer describe the current App.
