NGRecipe, operated by Md Chhafrul Alam Khan (“NGRecipe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides the NG Notes mobile application (“NG Notes,” the “App,” or the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, processed, stored, used, disclosed, and protected when you use NG Notes.
By installing or using NG Notes, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Please do not use the App if you do not agree with this Privacy Policy.

Developer brand: NGRecipe
Developer: Md Chhafrul Alam Khan
Application package: com.ngrecipe.ngnotes

2. Privacy-first and offline-first design
NG Notes is designed as an offline-first note-taking application.
The App does not require you to create an NGRecipe account to use its core note-taking features. Notes, checklists, drawings, tables, tags, folders, bookmarks, flashcards, journals, recordings, attachments, preferences, and related content are generally stored locally on your device.
NGRecipe does not operate a cloud synchronisation service for NG Notes and does not routinely receive or store the contents of your notes on its own servers.
Information may leave your device when:
- You deliberately share, export, print, copy, back up, or open content using another application or service.
- You use a device or operating-system service that processes data externally.
- Advertising or consent services process technical information necessary to provide advertisements and privacy choices.
- You contact us and voluntarily provide information.
You are responsible for reviewing the privacy practices of any third-party application, storage provider, email service, messaging service, printer service, speech service, or other destination you choose when exporting or sharing content.
3. Information stored locally on your device
Depending on the features you use, NG Notes may store the following information locally:
- Note titles and note content
- Checklists and task completion status
- Markdown content
- Journal entries
- Drawings
- Voice recordings and audio attachments
- Flashcards
- Tables
- Website bookmarks and source links
- Images, scanned content, documents, and other attachments
- Folders, nested folders, and tags
- Note colours, priorities, favourites, and pinned status
- Archive and Trash content
- Revision history
- Backlinks and note relationships
- Reminder schedules
- App settings and preferences
- Backup and restoration information
- Protected-note settings
- Locally generated summaries, suggested titles, outlines, tags, or other writing assistance where supported
This information remains under your control on your device unless you choose to disclose, export, share, or back it up elsewhere.
4. Information we may process
4.1 Information you provide directly
We may receive information you voluntarily provide when you:
- Contact support
- Send feedback
- Report a problem
- Communicate with us by email
- Participate in testing or troubleshooting
This information may include your name, email address, message content, screenshots, device details, diagnostic information, or other information you choose to send.
Please avoid sending confidential note content, passwords, financial information, health records, identification documents, or other highly sensitive information unless it is necessary for resolving your request.
4.2 Advertising and consent information
NG Notes may display advertisements through Google AdMob on eligible browsing and informational screens.
Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:
- Internet Protocol address
- Advertising identifiers
- Device identifiers
- Device type and operating-system information
- Application interactions
- Advertisement impressions
- Advertisement clicks
- Approximate location inferred from an Internet Protocol address
- Consent status and privacy choices
- Diagnostic and performance information
- Fraud-prevention and security signals
The precise information processed depends on your location, device settings, consent choices, Google settings, and whether personalised or non-personalised advertisements are permitted.
NG Notes does not permit advertisements inside active note editors, drawing sessions, recording sessions, protected-note unlocking, backup restoration, revision recovery, or other sensitive workflows designated by the App.
We do not ask users to click advertisements, and users should never click advertisements merely to support us.
4.3 Consent information
Where required, NG Notes may use Google’s User Messaging Platform to:
- Determine whether a consent message is required
- Display applicable consent notices
- Record consent choices
- determine whether advertisements may be requested
- Provide access to privacy options where required
Google’s User Messaging Platform is designed to help applications manage applicable privacy choices, including consent requirements in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and certain United States jurisdictions.
You may be able to review or change applicable advertising privacy choices through the App’s Settings or privacy-options entry point when available.
5. Device permissions and feature access
NG Notes requests permissions only when reasonably necessary for a feature you choose to use. Availability varies by device and Android version.
5.1 Microphone
Microphone access may be requested when you:
- Record a voice note
- Attach an audio recording
- Use speech-to-text
Audio recordings may be stored locally on your device.
Speech-to-text may use the speech-recognition service configured on your device. Depending on your device, language, operating system, and selected speech provider, speech processing may occur on the device or may be transmitted to that provider for processing.
Review your device’s speech-service settings and the provider’s privacy practices before using speech-to-text with sensitive information.
5.2 Camera and images
Camera or image access may be requested when you:
- Capture an image
- Scan a document
- Extract text from an image
- Add an image attachment
Captured or selected content is stored locally unless you deliberately export or share it.
Some scanning and text-recognition functions may use on-device Google ML Kit components. Google describes many ML Kit capabilities as optimised for on-device processing, but developers remain responsible for accurately declaring relevant data practices.
5.3 Files and documents
NG Notes may allow you to select or create files using Android’s system file picker or document interfaces.
The App does not require broad access to all files on your device. Access is generally limited to files you select or locations you authorise through the operating system.
5.4 Notifications
Notification permission may be requested to display:
- Note reminders
- Recurring reminders
- Other user-configured alerts
Reminder information is generally scheduled and stored locally.
5.5 Biometric authentication
When biometric protection is enabled, authentication is performed by the supported security system on your device.
NG Notes does not receive or store your fingerprint image, facial image, or raw biometric template. The operating system normally returns only whether authentication succeeded or failed.
5.6 Network access
Internet access may be used for:
- Loading advertisements
- Obtaining advertising consent information
- Opening links you select
- Accessing web content through external services
- Sending information when you deliberately share or contact support
- Other clearly disclosed online features
Core note creation and local note access are intended to remain available without an Internet connection.
6. Protected notes and security
NG Notes may allow you to protect selected notes with a Personal Identification Number and optional biometric verification.
Where implemented:
- Personal Identification Number information is stored using salted one-way protection rather than plain text.
- Sensitive authentication information may be stored using Android secure storage.
- Biometric verification is handled by the operating system.
Protected-note functionality is an access-control feature. It must not be interpreted as a guarantee that the complete application database, every attachment, every backup, or every temporary operating-system file is end-to-end encrypted.
Do not rely on NG Notes as the sole storage location for information whose loss or disclosure could cause severe harm.
Use a secure device lock, keep Android updated, install applications only from trusted sources, and protect your backups.
7. Backups, exports, and sharing
NG Notes may allow you to create local backup files or export content in formats such as text, Markdown, image, Portable Document Format, print output, or an NG Notes backup format.
You control where exported or backed-up files are stored or sent.
After information is exported from NG Notes:
- It may no longer be protected by the App.
- It may become accessible to other applications, cloud services, recipients, or people with access to the destination.
- It becomes subject to the destination provider’s privacy and security practices.
You are responsible for securing exported files and deleting unwanted copies.
Before restoring a backup, ensure that it comes from a trusted source. Although NG Notes may perform safety checks, no file-import system can eliminate every possible security risk.
8. How information is used
Information may be used to:
- Provide and maintain App functionality
- Save and display your notes locally
- Enable search, folders, tags, reminders, attachments, and backups
- Provide drawing, recording, scanning, and speech features
- Protect selected notes
- Remember settings and preferences
- Display and measure advertisements
- Manage consent and privacy choices
- Prevent fraud, abuse, invalid advertising activity, and security threats
- Diagnose crashes, performance problems, or compatibility issues
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
- Enforce applicable policies and protect users, NGRecipe, and third parties
We do not sell the contents of your notes.
We do not operate a service that uses private note content to build advertising profiles on NGRecipe servers.
9. Third-party services
NG Notes may use or interact with third-party services, Software Development Kits, operating-system components, or applications, including:
- Google Play services
- Google AdMob
- Google User Messaging Platform
- Google ML Kit
- Android biometric services
- Android speech-recognition services
- Android notification services
- Android file and document providers
- External sharing, printing, browser, email, messaging, or storage applications selected by you
These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Google requires publishers using its advertising products to disclose relevant data collection, sharing, and usage by Google products and advertising partners.
We encourage you to review Google’s Privacy Policy, Google Advertising policies, Google Play services disclosures, and the privacy policies of any other service you choose to use.
10. Information sharing and disclosure
Information may be disclosed:
- To service providers necessary to provide advertisements, consent management, security, diagnostics, or selected device functionality
- To applications or people you deliberately select when sharing or exporting content
- To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request
- To investigate fraud, abuse, security threats, policy violations, or harmful conduct
- To protect the rights, property, safety, and integrity of users, NGRecipe, service providers, or the public
- In connection with a business reorganisation, merger, acquisition, transfer, or sale, subject to applicable legal requirements
- With your direction or consent
We do not sell private note content.
We do not disclose private note content to advertisers for personalised advertising.
11. Personalised and non-personalised advertising
Depending on your location and choices, advertisements may be personalised or non-personalised.
Personalised advertising may use information such as advertising identifiers, inferred interests, prior interactions, or approximate location.
Non-personalised advertising may still use contextual information, basic device information, frequency controls, fraud-prevention data, and other limited signals necessary to deliver and measure advertisements.
You may manage some advertising controls through:
- Consent messages shown in the App
- The App’s privacy settings, where available
- Android advertising settings
- Your Google Account advertising controls
Declining personalised advertising does not necessarily remove all advertisements.
12. Advertising safeguards
NG Notes is designed to avoid deceptive or disruptive advertising practices.
We aim not to:
- Place advertisements inside active note-editing sessions
- Place advertisements over note content or navigation controls
- Disguise advertisements as user-created notes
- encourage accidental advertisement clicks
- Show interstitial advertisements when the App launches
- Show interstitial advertisements when the App exits
- Show interstitial advertisements merely because a user presses Back
- Require advertisement interaction to access a user’s own saved notes
- Ask users to click advertisements to support the developer
- Generate artificial impressions or clicks
Advertisement availability, content, and selection are generally controlled by Google and participating advertising providers, not directly by NGRecipe.
13. Children’s privacy
NG Notes is a general productivity application and is not designed specifically for children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly request children to provide personal information directly to NGRecipe.
Parents and guardians should supervise children’s device use and review applicable advertising, consent, permission, and family settings.
Where Google Play’s Families policies apply, applications must follow additional requirements concerning advertisements, Software Development Kits, and the handling of children’s data.
Please contact us if you believe a child has directly provided personal information to NGRecipe without appropriate authorisation.
14. Data retention
Locally stored information
Notes and related data remain on your device until you:
- Delete them
- Empty the Trash
- Remove attachments
- Restore or replace data
- Clear the App’s storage
- Uninstall the App
- Delete backups from their storage location
The operating system, backup provider, or storage provider may retain separate copies outside our control.
Support communications
Support correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Respond to your request
- Maintain support records
- Prevent abuse
- Resolve disputes
- Meet legal obligations
Advertising information
Advertising and consent providers retain information according to their own policies, legal obligations, and configured retention periods.
15. Data deletion and control
NG Notes does not currently require an NGRecipe user account.
Because core information is stored locally, you can generally delete it by:
- Deleting individual notes
- Emptying the Trash
- Removing attachments
- Deleting locally created backups
- Clearing the App’s storage through Android settings
- Uninstalling the App
Clearing storage or uninstalling may permanently remove local notes that have not been backed up.
Information shared with third parties must be deleted from those third parties separately.
To request deletion of information you directly sent to NGRecipe, contact:
We may need to retain limited information where required by law, for security, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
16. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning personal information processed by us, including the right to:
- Request access
- Request correction
- Request deletion
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent
- Request data portability where applicable
- Appeal certain privacy decisions
- Lodge a complaint with an appropriate data-protection authority
These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions.
Because most NG Notes content is stored only on your device, NGRecipe may not possess or be able to retrieve that content.
To submit a privacy request, email:
Please describe your request clearly. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity and prevent unauthorised disclosure.
17. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
Where applicable, personal information may be processed under one or more lawful bases, including:
- Your consent
- Performance of a service you requested
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights
- Protection of legal rights, security, and fraud prevention
Where required, consent will be requested before using certain local storage technologies or personal data, such as an advertising identifier, for advertising purposes. Google’s EU consent requirements cover users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
You may withdraw applicable consent through the available privacy-options interface. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
18. United States privacy rights
Residents of certain United States jurisdictions may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, disclosure, or opting out of certain forms of targeted advertising, sharing, or sale.
NGRecipe does not sell the contents of your notes.
Advertising providers may process advertising identifiers and related information in accordance with their policies and applicable privacy choices. Google provides tools intended to assist publishers with applicable United States state privacy requirements.
You may submit a privacy request to:
19. International processing
Third-party providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between countries. Where required, service providers are responsible for using appropriate legal safeguards for international transfers.
Core note content stored only on your device is not transferred internationally by NGRecipe unless you choose an external destination or use a third-party feature that performs such processing.
20. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the App’s design, including local storage controls, secure Android interfaces, protected-note controls, safe backup validation, and restricted permission requests where implemented.
However, no mobile device, application, storage system, transmission method, authentication mechanism, or security measure is completely secure.
We cannot guarantee that information will never be lost, damaged, accessed, disclosed, or altered without authorisation.
You should:
- Use a secure device screen lock
- Keep Android and NG Notes updated
- Protect your Personal Identification Number
- Enable biometric protection where appropriate
- Store backups securely
- Avoid installing untrusted applications
- Avoid sharing sensitive content through insecure services
- Maintain independent backups of important information
21. Data loss and availability
NG Notes is provided as a productivity tool, not as a guaranteed archival, emergency, medical, legal, financial, or records-management service.
You are responsible for maintaining independent copies of important information.
NGRecipe is not responsible for data loss caused by factors outside its reasonable control, including:
- Device loss or damage
- Operating-system failure
- User deletion
- Clearing application storage
- Uninstallation
- Malware
- Storage corruption
- Third-party applications
- Incompatible backups
- Unsupported device modifications
- Failure to maintain backups
Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
22. External links
Notes and bookmarks may contain links to external websites.
NGRecipe does not control external websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices.
Opening an external link may allow the destination to receive information such as your Internet Protocol address, browser information, and referring context.
Review the destination’s privacy policy before providing information.
23. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:
- Changes to NG Notes
- New or removed features
- Changes to third-party services
- Legal or regulatory developments
- Security improvements
- Google Play or AdMob policy changes
The updated policy will display a revised “Last updated” date.
Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.
Continued use of NG Notes after an update means the revised policy applies to future use, subject to applicable law.
